What is Ship & Shout, in one sentence?
It reads your GitHub commits and revenue once a week and writes your build-in-public update for X and LinkedIn, chart included, so you just review and post.
Do you get write access to my code or money?
No. GitHub connects through our read-only GitHub App (Contents, Pull requests, Metadata), and we only ever read commits, merged PRs, and releases. For Stripe you create a restricted, read-only key, so we can't move money; Lemon Squeezy has no read-only key type, so we only ever make read requests with yours. One click disconnects and deletes your tokens.
Do I need the X (Twitter) API?
No. Ship & Shout writes the post and you copy it — the same way most makers post anyway. No API fees, no rate limits, no broken integrations. LinkedIn publishing is one click on Pro.
Will the posts sound like a robot wrote them?
They shouldn’t. Paste a few past posts and Ship & Shout uses them as a style sample — aiming for numbers first, no filler words. You always review before anything goes out.
What happens when the 14-day trial ends?
Nothing is charged, because we never asked for a card. You move to Free: GitHub plus one revenue source, a chart with a small Ship & Shout badge, and auto-posting to the free platforms. Your drafts and your public timeline stay.
Is there a lifetime deal?
