Set up your account and get your first weekly draft.
What does Ship & Shout do?
Each week it reads your connected data — code activity, revenue, and traffic — and drafts an honest, numbers-first build-in-public post plus a revenue chart. You review, edit, and publish. See the FAQ for more.
How do I get my first draft?
Sign in, connect at least one source, and pick your delivery day and time. A weekly job then drafts your post and emails you when it's ready.
How much does it cost?
Free is $0 with one draft a week. Pro is $15/mo or $150/yr, and Lifetime is $225 once. Full details on the pricing page.
Connecting sources
GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, analytics.
What access do you need?
Read-only scopes everywhere. We read commit metadata and merged pull requests (never your code), revenue and customer counts (we never move money), and aggregate visitor counts. More on the Security page.
Which sources are supported?
Code: GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket. Revenue: Stripe and Lemon Squeezy. Analytics: Plausible, Vercel Analytics, and Fathom.
How do I disconnect a source?
Go to Settings and disconnect it — the stored token is destroyed immediately. You can also revoke access from the provider's own connected-apps settings.
Drafts & publishing
Editing your post, charts, and where you can publish.
Will it invent numbers?
No. Every figure comes from your connected metrics, and a human — you — reviews every draft before anything goes out. Still, always check the numbers before publishing.
Where can I publish?
Copy to clipboard, publish to LinkedIn (you initiate it), download the chart image, or opt in to a public timeline page. We do not depend on the X/Twitter API.
Can I edit the draft?
Yes — every draft is fully editable before you publish it.
Billing & plans
Payments, upgrades, refunds, and cancellation.
How is billing handled?
Through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, which also handles applicable taxes. Details are in the Terms.
Can I get a refund?
Paid Pro and Lifetime plans include a 30-day money-back guarantee. Email us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of your paid period. Manage your subscription from Settings.
Account & data
Your data, exports, privacy, and deletion.
How do I export my data?
From Settings → Account → Export data. See GDPR & Your Data for what's included.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Account → Delete account. Your account, tokens, drafts, and charts are erased immediately; any public timeline goes offline within an hour; backups are purged within 30 days.
Are my tokens safe?
Tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM), decrypted only server-side when used, and never logged or sent to your browser. See the Privacy Policy.
Troubleshooting
When something isn't working as expected.
My draft didn't arrive
Check that a source is connected and your delivery day/time and timezone are set in Settings, and look in spam for the email. Still stuck? Contact us.
A metric looks wrong
Numbers come directly from your connected sources for the week. Try reconnecting the source, then reach out if it still looks off.
I can't sign in
You can sign in with GitHub OAuth or email and password. If you're locked out, email hello@shipandshout.co.
