1. Overview
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser; related technologies like localStorage store data the same way. We group what we use into three categories: essential, functional, and analytics. We never use cookies for advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking.
2. Essential cookies
These are required for the service to work and cannot be switched off. The main one is your Supabase authentication session, which keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Without it you could not stay logged in.
We also use Sentry for error monitoring (EU region, Frankfurt) — it doesn't set any cookies, has no session replay or screen recording, and reports carry no personal data beyond a pseudonymous account id. We treat it as essential to keeping the service reliable, on the same legitimate-interest basis as our security logs; see our Privacy Policy for details.
3. Functional storage
We remember your theme preference so the app opens in the look you chose. This is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key "theme" — it stays on your device and is not sent to advertisers.
4. Analytics
We use first-party product analytics — we record product events (e.g. sign-in, draft generated, post copied) tied to your account in our own database. This runs regardless of your cookie choice below; it never sets a cookie and is essential to operating your account.
If you accept this “analytics” category, we also load Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Both are cookieless — they report aggregated, anonymous page views, referrers, country, device type, and Web Vitals (page-load performance), processed by Vercel Inc. Nothing loads until you consent, and declining or withdrawing consent stops it immediately. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

6. How to control cookies
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings, and clear localStorage for this site to reset your theme. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in.
7. Do Not Track
Because we do not track you across sites or serve ads, there is little for a Do Not Track signal to change. We honor the spirit of DNT by not engaging in cross-site tracking for any visitor, whether or not the signal is set.
