Ship & Shout keeps its use of cookies and browser storage to a minimum: what's needed to keep you signed in, to remember your theme, and to count visitors in a privacy-friendly way. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

1. Overview

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser; related technologies like localStorage store data the same way. We group what we use into three categories: essential, functional, and analytics. We never use cookies for advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking.

2. Essential cookies

These are required for the service to work and cannot be switched off. The main one is your Supabase authentication session, which keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Without it you could not stay logged in.

3. Functional storage

We remember your theme preference so the app opens in the look you chose. This is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key "theme" — it stays on your device and is not sent to advertisers.

4. Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics (such as Plausible, Vercel Analytics, or Fathom) to understand aggregate traffic — how many people visit and which pages are popular. These tools are designed to work without cross-site tracking or advertising identifiers, and many operate without setting any cookie at all.

6. How to control cookies

You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings, and clear localStorage for this site to reset your theme. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in. Our analytics do not require your consent for tracking because they do not profile you across sites.

7. Do Not Track

Because we do not track you across sites or serve ads, there is little for a Do Not Track signal to change. We honor the spirit of DNT by not engaging in cross-site tracking for any visitor, whether or not the signal is set.
