What did you ship this week? Get your commits summarized

A week of commits is hard to recall and harder to explain. This summarizes a public repo's last full week into totals and the handful of changes that actually mattered, written for humans: for your standup, your journal, your team, or a post.

TRY IT · NO ACCOUNT NEEDED

Paste any public repo. Get this week’s post in seconds.

We read the repo’s last full week of public commits, PRs and issues. Nothing is stored, and there’s nothing to sign up for.

Good for

  • Monday standups: "what did I do last week" answered in one paste.
  • Freelance and client reports: a readable week of work without hand-written notes.
  • Your own dev journal: one line per week, kept up without effort.
  • Build-in-public posts: turn the summary into a post with one click after signing up.

How the summary is made

The tool counts the week's commits, merged PRs and releases from GitHub's public API, then asks a language model to name the few changes that matter, using PR titles and commit messages only. If the model is unavailable, a plain template summary is shown instead, so you always get the real numbers.

Questions

Does it read my code?

No. It only reads metadata: commit messages, PR titles, release tags and counts. File contents are never fetched.

Can I summarize a different week?

The free tool always covers the last complete week (Saturday to Friday, UTC). Signed-in makers get every week drafted automatically and keep the history on their dashboard.

Why are some commits missing?

Only commits on the default branch inside the week (by commit date) are counted. Work still on a feature branch shows up once it's merged.

Is there a limit?

A few runs per day per visitor on the free tool, with popular repos cached for an hour. Signed-in makers get their weekly draft automatically.
